"ALRIGHT, I WARNED YOU, I'M TURNING ON MY SIREN!"
Thyrsa Derijcke This is her first year in a FUNEST performance. Former appearances: Woody Allen's God and various nameless unimportant, small and irreplacable parts.
Florence Unger Olive about Florence: "I took her in because I thought I was lonely, but now I want to cook her head like a twelve pound capon!"

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT! 'THE CURSE OF THE CAT PEOPLE'?"
Jolijn van Eunen This is her fourth appearance in FUNEST and she's ready for the big finale. This will be her last play because she's planning to graduate this year.
Olive Madison Florence about Olive: "She is one of the biggest slobs in the world, completely unreliable, undependable, unappreciative, irresponsible, and indescribably inefficient."

Sally den Hartog She is a first year student of English. The Odd Couple is the first 'real' theatre production she is in and she hopes to be in many more.
Sylvie A 35 year old Scottish woman who is trapped in a marriage with a penguin. A compulsive smoker among people who annoy her. Especially those who talk crispy toast and fluffy towels, those who just quit smoking and those who just got separated.

Daniëlle Wigchert Also a first year student of English. She loves to act, and especially likes to play 'bitchy parts'.
Mickey She is not particularly bitchy, but she has absolute control in every possible situation. She even controls her husband Stan, a lovely grey-haired well-dressed lawyer. She taught him how to make lamb chops! Unfortunately, he boils them in water... That's men for you, good for nothing, except hand-cuffing you to the bed.

Suzanne van Kessel This first year student of English started her acting career at primary school. The part of Vera expanded her repertoire considerably. She was able to put a lot of herself into it.
  Vera "Who?"

Maurice Dekker Filed in 1974, lived secluded for 18 years, studies English and now tries his hand at acting... When he grows up he wants to become a teacher.
Renee (S)he is a gigantic transvestite whose temper is almost continually bad, if not because of the weather, then because of the quality of the food or the (annoying) habits of other people. (S)he once had a quick fling with a gynacologist, but now thinks that he is a "prejudiced two-timing bastard son of a bitch".

Carlo Houtkamp Since Carlo was already allowed to speak up in last year's FUNEST-booklet, he decided to let some celebs have their say about him:
James Cameron, director: "Carlo's performance in Measure for Measure last year -especially the part where he's sleeping on stage for about half an hour- inspired me to do TITANIC."
Anita Meyer, Carlo's babysitter: "Carlo, whose real name by the way is Callie, was a sweet, likable kid. I never had any problems with him or the three Dobermans he kept under his bed."
Jesus Costazuela One of the famous 'Costazuela Brothers'. His most celebrated line seems to be "I'm so stupid. Forgive me."

Arnoud Verschuur This is his third performance with FUNEST. He previously starred in Mystery at Greenfingers and Vinegar Tom. This year, he decided to do something a leettle more Spanish.
Manolo Costazuela The other half of the 'Costazuela Brothers', not to be confused with the equally famous Manolo Venezuela. An authentic Spaniard and a notorious womanizer, but always the gentleman.

Meike Herpers Since she had already played in about four FUNEST plays, and since the part of the virtuous Isabella in Measure for Measure left her on the verge of a nervous breakdown last year, she decided to leave acting far behind her. So she promoted herself to Director this year. (Well, there was no one else to do the job really...) She found out that directing is at least as much fun as acting (or maybe even a bit more)!!!

"Jesus snores and I talk in my sleep"

"That should sound great with her moose calls"
